Access at Wi-Fi hotspots is protected with the Net2Roam iPassConnect™ universal client's conformance with industry security standards. Specifically, the Generic Interface Specification (GIS) and WPA2 support.

For a higher level of security, WPA2 is used with the Net2Roam iPass service. Net2roam iPass supports WPA2, WPA and WEP security between Net2Roam iPassConnect and most Wi-Fi routers.
