Hotel incompatible phone system
Before you travel, please check with your hotel if their phone system allows data calls. Most modern hotels provide this service, but in case they don't then you won't be able to use Net2Roam services to get online.
If hotels have a digital PBX system, you will need to switch off 'wait for dial tone before dialing' option:
Windows users:
Open the Net2Roam iPass software dialer, go to 'Configuration' menu, then click on 'Connect settings'.
Select the modem you are using and click on the 'properties' box, then tick off 'wait for dial tone before dialing'.
Restart your computer TWICE then re-open the Net2Roam iPass dialer and hit 'connect'.
MAC and PDA users:
Please refer to the user's manual for instructions on how to switch off the 'wait for dial tone before dialing' option.
